Holly Hill Quarry Fault


This was a very interesting place to survey.  The floor of the quarry faulted over an aquifer that initially released a tremendous amount of pressure.  As we were surveying it was apparent that the quarry was slowly flooding.  We successfully imaged the fault.  Be sure and watch the movie at the bottom of the page.  You could jump up and down on one side of the fault and cause water to flow but not on the other.
